The World of Omocha-es, Printed Paper ToysMarch 26 - May 29
Omocha-es are practical ukiyo-es devised not only to see and enjoy but to make and play and also to play and learn. They are full of variety. For examples, we can cut out, paste, put up and give them three-dimensional effect. You can enjoy changing pictures through folding and turning them over. Some of other others are playing riddles and a kind of illustrated reference book. Omocha-es are fated to be disposed as consumables and therefore very valuable if they are existing now. We introduce such an attractive world of Omocha-es in which the customs and fashion of those days are well designed.
